We designed a brand guidance website that was recognizably Mozilla, but still flexible enough to accommodate their products’ different brand systems. The website was positioned to showcase Mozilla’s dedication to keeping an open and free internet, while serving as a useful tool and practical resource for their design teams around the world.
Early in the process, we considered editorial-influenced approaches that drew inspiration from the aesthetics of “default internet”. Ultimately, however, we opted for a fast and efficient website that serves as a hub for design resources for Mozilla’s distributed design team, while also embodying the brand’s design language.
